LAWTON—Funeral services for Mr. Christain Joshua Love, age 25, will be at 11:00 a.m.--Monday, November 2, 2009 in New Hope Church of God In Christ (1502 SW Monroe Avenue) in Lawton, with the pastor, Elder Michael Cross, officiating.
DATE OF DEATH. Christain Joshua Love died Friday, October 23, 2009 in Lawton. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, in Lawton, under the direction of Jefferson Funeral Home, Inc.—Lawton.
He was born August 30, 1984 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Betty Jean Love and David Alan Birch. The family lived in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma until 1986, then moved to Anadarko, Oklahoma where he attended kindergarten until 1993. Later, the family moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma where he attended Sapulpa Elementary School. In 1996, he moved with the family to Lawton, Oklahoma--he completed high school earning his GED. Having worked several jobs, he most recently worked for the City of Lawton’s Sanitation Department.
He married Tamaria D. Webster on March 15, 2008 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE. His wife, Tamaria Webster Love, of Lawton; one (1) son: Daquan Slyvester, of Lawton; three (3) stepdaughters: Brandy Webster, Khandlin McDew, and TaNia McDew; one (1) sister: LaNiya Love, of Norfolk, Virginia; his mother: Betty Jean Love, of Norfolk, Virginia; four (4) uncles: DeWayne Love, Larry Love, and John Love, all of Carnegie, Oklahoma, and Lonnie Love, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one (1) aunt: Martha Love Parker, of Lawton, Oklahoma; cousins: Keelon Love, KaShayla Love, Kyiesha Marrow, TyVon Love, and Bryant Whitaker, all of Lawton, and numerous other relatives and friends.
PRECEDED IN DEATH. His father; his grandmother, Addie Mae Love, and an uncle, J.D. Love, precede him in death.
