Kattie Beatrice Turner
September 21, 1936 - November 12, 2009
Lawton: Kattie Beatrice (Robbins) Turner was born September 21, 1936 in Mansfield, Louisiana to the Rev. George and Evelyna Robbins. She was the sixth child to this union of nine siblings. She departed this life November 2, 2009 peacefully at Southwestern Hospital, Lawton.
Kattie gave her life and confessed Christ as her lord and Saviour at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Mansfield After moving to Lawton, she united with Mr. Calvary Baptist Church, being active in the choir, usher board, and mission. At the time of her demise she was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Kattie is survived by: three sons Lorenza Thomas (Jeanette) and James Turner of Chickasha, OK. Clarence Edward Turner and daughter Sandra Turner, both of Lawton, OK. Five grandchildren: Lorenza, Trae, Shaunte, Brandon, and Shayle, all of Chickasha, OK. One brother George Robbins- Mansfield, LA, one sister- Rosie Reed- Lawton, OK, mother-in law Bertha L. Turner Denver, CO, Brother and sister-in-law Carl and Catherine Turner- Lawton, OK, Sister-in-law Mary Robbins- Mansfield, LA, Sister-in-law, Eula Ransom- Denver, CO- Aunt Cora Robbins- Mansfield, LA. A host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
\She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers- Arthur, Henry and Wilbert Robbins, three sisters; Hattie Pegues, Berdia Williams, Lula Johnson, and her husband Clarence E. Turner.

Kattie attended elementary and high school in Mansfield graduating from De Soto High School in 1958. After graduating, she moved to Lawton, OK where she later met Clarence Turner and they got married in July 1964. They remained one happy union until his
